DNA project: The Broket Archive administers the Brockett DNA Project. Those of you who are—or wish to be—a participant, be assured that we give priority to protecting your privacy and to the confidentiality of your personal data. We adhere to the principles of the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation 2017 (GDPR) which came into force on 25 May 2018. Its primary objective is to protect against the misuse of personal data. DNA results will be published against a code with no name of a living person attached, and only the names of deceased persons in the line of descent from which the DNA profile was obtained. The Broket Archive reserves the right to place results on public databases such as Ysearch, Ybase, and YHRD for comparison purposes. They will be identified as Broket profiles with a place of origin, but will be otherwise anonymous. For more details of the Brockett DNA Project’s Privacy Policy:+Read more
